Taking the Buzz Out of Bzz
Johnnie Moore (at Brand Autopsy) takes some serious slaps at Bzz Agent. Hugh joins in with a couple of comments as well. As do I.
What's interesting is that Dave Balter, BzzAgent's Founder and President, joins in the comment conversation and defends the specifics of the Home Cafe bzz campaign which has come a bit awry. Fine, the initial comments were about that campaign. But the conversation moved on to the more general issue of buzzing as what Johnnie called, "maven making." I've written about these issues as well, here, here, and here.
I'd be interested in Dave's take on the deeper issues. In my view, there's more wrong with this model than just the way it gets executed on a particular project.
