Given the way things are going, Seth's blog disclosure statement might be something we should consider instituting for any conversation in which someone recommends anything to anyone else!
Something like this:
"My wife and I really enjoyed Sideways. I'd like you to know that we are in no way associated with the film, the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Association, the towns of Solvang or Los Olivos, or the The Los Olivos Cafe. We do, however, love pinot noir, and would graciously accept a case in exchange for influencing as many of our friends as we could to see this complex, romantic, dark comedic work."
How's that for disclosure?
